An escape room is an immersive adventure game where participants are in a themed room and must solve a series of puzzles, riddles, and challenges within a set time limit (usually 60 minutes) to achieve a specific goal. It’s a team-based activity that encourages collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
The Game Master will introduce you to the game and escort you to your room. Each room is equipped with cameras and microphones, allowing the Game Master to monitor gameplay and give hints upon request.
Nothing is required except curiosity and a little competitiveness!
If your group is too large, we recommend booking two rooms or the same room with sequential time slots. Call ahead and we will adjust the time slots so you can play at the same time if possible.
Of course! For kids, we recommend Monkey Slime as it is the only room we allow children ages 15 and above without an adult. We have a gathering space for birthday parties for adults and older kids. Kids enjoy the Gold Rush with their families and friends. Check out our Rooms Page to see age and group size limitations for each room. Be sure to mention you need a table in “Special Needs” when booking.

If you have younger children, we recommend Monkey Slime or Gold Rush Cabin. Monkey Slime is always private. If you have children in The Gold Rush Cabin, please opt for a private room.
All rooms except Monkey Slime require an adult if any player is 15 or younger.
Groups of age 16 and up are allowed without an adult in most of our rooms.
Children under age 10 can participate with their families but will not be able to solve — ages 12 and up can actively participate and surprise us with their ideas!
A good rule of thumb is to have one adult per child under age 10.

If you have a small group we will try to pair you with another small group. It is much more fun with more people and a great way to make new friends.
Your start time allows for a few minutes to complete waivers and for a brief orientation. You will be escorted to your room and time will begin after an introduction by the Game Master or a video. You will have 60 minutes to solve or escape and then hours to talk about it!
The room will explode, scattering your body parts and staining the carpet.
No seriously, you will have to live with the emotional pain and humiliation of failure.
Actually, we will let you out with your body and pride intact. We will even explain any remaining puzzles. Some groups will be unable to escape within the time limit. This is all part of the fun.
Things happen. We understand! Call us and we will find another time that will work. Please allow us as much time as possible. There is no charge for rescheduling with a reasonable time notice.
If you cancel (rather than changing times) more than 48 hours in advance AND want a refund, there will be a 15% charge due to credit card processing fees and time. If you cancel less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours in advance, the fee is 25% and cancelation less than 24 hours in advance is non-refundable. Late arrival is treated as a cancellation. We accept cash, debit and credit cards as well as PayPal. Please pay online in advance to reserve your room or you may pay upon arrival if you call to arrange.

Every room is different. Sometimes it is easier with more people. Communication is a absolute must! All rooms will have opportunities for everyone to participate.
It will be rare that a group finishes in less than 40 minutes and uncommon for a group to be unable to escape in time. Some groups just need a little more help. This is all part of the fun.
